Friday, Nov 30th 5PM until Saturday about 5PM you can watch or participate in the NOAA SkyWarn project and contest. NOAA is at 2242 West North Temple in Salt Lake City. Modes of operation will include IRLP - ECHOLINK - PSK - HF - ETC. Want to see these modes in operation, come and watch. Want to work these modes? Come and sign up to operate for 15 minutes to an hour or more. Meet other ham radio operators, have fun.
CHIRP SOFTWARE - can program about 40 different radios. Can also move data from one brand to another. Use Google to find Chirp Software.
There is a new APRS program. It sits on top of Map Point. It is called PinPoint APRS. Google it for more details.
